Next month we will be picking up our kit and heading over to De Lisle Academy to run activities for students as part of the schools ‘Enrichment Week’.

This is the 10th year we’ve been working with De Lisle Academy and we’d like to thank them for coming back year after year with a fresh set of enthusiastic students.

Pupils aged 12 to 15-years-old will be taking part in a range of activities including laser tag, archery, and human table football. More than 100 youngsters and teachers will be trying something new and learning to work together as a team during the sessions.

Jane Tyler, education visits co-coordinator at De Lisle School, said: “Fun, physical activities like human football and archery, give the students and staff the opportunity to interact in a fun environment away from the classroom. It’s much more relaxed and everyone is able to have a laugh together, while building friendships and camaraderie.

“The feedback I get from staff taking part is that the students involved become more confident in group activities. They learn to work with each other across year groups and with school staff – and it’s because of these positive outcomes that we’ve been conducting the team building activities with Adrenalin Jungle for a decade. The team at Adrenalin Jungle offer a fantastic service at a good price, and make our lives easier by bringing many of the activities direct to our school grounds.”

We will be providing the activities as part of De Lisle Schools’ Enrichment Week in July 2016 at the De Lisle campus, hugely reducing the cost to the school as they do not need to pay for transport to and from the event venue. Enrichment Week offers students the option of taking part in a various trips and activities during the final week of term.
